About Scuba Shack
Set in Sandy Ground and run by experienced instructor Matthew Billington, Scuba Shack has been Anguilla's leading dive operator since 2004. A PADI 5 Star IDC Resort, it welcomes complete beginners and certified divers alike, with a full range of snorkeling trips, guided dives and PADI courses taught in English.
Dive sites and courses
Anguilla's underwater landscape is remarkably varied, with over 20 coral reef sites, dramatic wall dives and intentionally sunk wrecks that now form artificial reefs — including the historic Spanish galleon El Buen Consejo. A scheduled 9am Two Tank Dive starts from USD 200, while the PADI Bubblemaker introduces younger divers from USD 250. Skills-focused divers can take the PADI Wreck Diver course from USD 800, and multi-day guests can opt for a 5 Days of 2 Tank Dive Package from USD 850.

When we arrived at the shop, we found a diverse mix of diving experience from recently certified (like my wife) to old hands who have been diving for years (like myself) Matthew, the owner and his team, where helpful and run a first class operation. We choose Matthew’s operation as it is an accredited PADI operation and my wife, a nervous diver, wanted a professional operation. We are very pleased with the result and found Matthew and his group to be very professional, helpful and patient.
