Sea World Dive Center

Sea World Dive Center holds the distinction of being the first PADI 5 Star IDC Center in Busan, South Korea, backed by a team of 8 PADI Instructors. With both English and Korean spoken — and a "busanscuba" Facebook community for foreigners — it's a welcoming choice for international divers learning in English.

Courses and what it's known for

The center runs a full ladder of PADI training, from Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) and Open Water Diver through Advanced Open Water Diver and Rescue Diver, plus Emergency First Responder (EFR) and private 1:1 instruction. Experience, general, and instructor courses are offered, alongside Tec, Side-mount, and free-diving options.

Divers train in the center's own pool with multiple depths of 1M and 4M, supported by an onsite classroom, retail shop, parking, and free Wi-Fi. Free guest rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Local diving takes in 태종대 and 감지해변, where marine life includes sharks, whales, turtles, ocean fish, eels, molluscs, and crustaceans.
