Seastar Dive

Run by PADI course director and registered nurse Hyunju Kim, Seastar Dive sits in Seogwipo on South Korea's Jeju coast, with onsite accommodation overlooking Beom-sum (Tiger Island). Studio-type rooms are offered to divers at special rates, and the dive boats are fitted with automatic lifts to make climbing back aboard easy after a dive.

Courses and diving

As a PADI 5 Star IDC Resort with 3 PADI instructors, Seastar runs a full course lineup from the PADI Open Water Diver Course — including exclusive 1:1 tutoring with the course director — through Advanced Open Water, Adventure Diver and Open Water Referral options, with prices from USD 135. Every diving program includes underwater photography.

Divers explore local sites such as Tiger Island and 문섬 난파선, with marine life that can include sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish. With English and Korean spoken, onsite classroom, free Wi-Fi, retail shop and parking, it suits newcomers and returning divers alike.
