In short this is an excellent dive centre and works well in conjunction with the hotel itself. When my wife and I arrived a golf buggy brought all our luggage to our room. The next day all we had to do was phone reception and they would have sent out another buggy to get our kit down to the dive centre. We didn't realise and carried it - stupid, stupid. A super efficient Italian lady is in charge of the centre, very friendly, professional and knew all there was to know about the diving. All kit is securely stored at the centre in boxes, wetsuits are hung out during the day to dry/air, then the staff bring them in at night. All very handy. When you boat dive the boxes of kit are simply sent on ahead to the boat so they are there when you arrive. Also handy. Diving options were shore diving on the house reef at 9am and 2pm with a guide. I think you could go on your own, but we opted for guided as it was just easier, plus the guides are excellent. Boat dives had to be booked a day in advance. Boat diving was simple too, just got collected outside the hotel at the allocated time and led off the bus at the dock to the boat, showed our box of kit, cylinders waiting and guides at the ready. The staff were brilliant. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Besides the guides the helper guys were superb, very quick to help don and doff gear and carry anything you set down long enough. The diving was excellent all round. Note that The Thistlegorm was only available on certain days so check in advance before you go. Prior to our trip all our emails were replied to with all relevant information and in decent time. Top marks all round! *note - i brought ALL my own kit.
