Good to know before you dive

Under local regulations, certified divers need to present their certification card and a log book showing a stamped, dated dive within the last six months before renting SCUBA equipment, refilling a tank or joining a guided dive. Divers at Divemaster equivalent and above are exempt. Israeli Diving Law also requires certified divers to carry diving insurance, and the Snuba team is happy to talk you through the best option — worth noting, as most travel insurance doesn't cover diving specifically.

If it's been more than six months since your last dive, a Refresh Dive gets you back in the water; for that you'll only need proof of certification and diving insurance. It's a straightforward, standards-first centre that suits certified divers looking for a dependable base in Eilat.
