Spondylus DC Mancora

Spondylus DC Mancora is a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort on Peru's coast, built around a clear mission: to share knowledge and respect for the underwater world through Scuba Diving taught to PADI standards. With two PADI Instructors on the team, it aims to be one of the most recognised, reliable and safe places to learn to dive in the country.

Courses and dive sites

The centre runs a full PADI pathway, from a Fun Dive (from USD 100) and PADI Scuba Diver through to the Open Water Diver Course, Rescue Diver, ReActivate refresher, Emergency First Response and the PADI Divemaster — 18 courses and activities in all. Local diving takes you to Plataforma MX-1, Arrecifes de Vichayito and Punta Veleros.

On site you'll find a training pool, classroom, dive boat, retail shop, free Wi-Fi and accommodation. Marine life ranges from sharks, rays and turtles to whales, ocean fish, eels, molluscs and corals. With instruction offered in English and Spanish, it suits everyone from first-timers to divers working toward a professional rating.
