Start Scuba School

Start Scuba School is a PADI Resort dive center based in Seogwipo, South Korea, set in a waterfront location within easy reach of Seopseom, Munseom and Beomseom Islands. With such short travel routes to the water, it's a relaxed base for divers who want to enjoy their time underwater without long transfers.

Courses and diving

The centre runs the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course, taking around 2 days, with three PADI Instructors on hand and instruction available in both English and Korean. Local dives explore sites including 섶섬 작은한개창 and 섶섬, where the marine life on offer ranges from ocean fish, corals, anemones and jellyfish to turtles, sharks and whales.

On site you'll find an air-conditioned classroom, free Wi-Fi, a retail shop, parking, food and drinks, and onsite accommodation. Air fills, Nitrox, Trimix and a full range of equipment rental are available, alongside a dive boat and a dive club, making it a well-equipped option whether you're training or diving for fun.
