About Stella Maris Explorer
Based in Davao, Philippines, the Stella Maris Explorer is a 36-meter dive cruiser that pairs comfort with adventure. Part of the Expedition Fleet Liveaboards, this pleasure yacht cruises the Tubbataha and Apo-Coron Reefs, and its spacious open-air top deck is made for enjoying a sundowner as the sun goes down.
What it's known for
Diving here runs on PADI standards, and enriched air (Nitrox) is available for those who want longer, more relaxed time underwater. It suits divers who like their reef days matched with genuine comfort onboard: ten air-conditioned cabins, each with an ensuite bathroom, hot showers, and new memory foam mattresses.
Between dives, the carpeted interior offers a lounge with modern furniture, a TV/DVD system, and a library of books, magazines, and DVDs. Up top, guests can settle into the bar area or unwind in the Jacuzzi at the bow. Facilities include free Wi-Fi, warm-water showers, a battery charging station, and fish ID and diving books. English and Filipino are spoken onboard.

★ 5 · andrew Henricksen · 2024-04-11Dived over easter 2024. The boat was great, plenty space to spread out. The food (5xday) was excellent - better than expected. High quality and well prepared. Bunk room was clean and aircon icy cold. Dive guides very energetic, friendly and professional. Been diving over 30 years, several liveaboards, and this was special. Recommended.
★ 5 · YE Li · 2023-04-20It was the best ever live-aboard experience, way beyond my expectations. Crew and dive guides were amazing, dives sites even better. We saw sharks every dives, and schools of hammer heads, whale sharks twice, all very first time to me. Also met a group of lovely people. Highly recommend King, Edison, Ramble and Sam, professional staff, they know their job v well.
