Tatawa

Set in the waters of Wakatobi, Indonesia, Tatawa is a spacious PADI Dive Boat built for small groups who want an easygoing, personal diving experience. Divers can head out from the main boat or the large tender, and with a maximum of eight divers on board, the atmosphere stays relaxed and the service stays attentive.

Comfort and who it suits

Accommodation is in five well-ventilated, fan-cooled cabins on the lower deck, sharing two bathrooms and offered in single, double and twin configurations. Public areas are kept comfortable by two air-conditioning units, including an air-conditioned indoor lounge and dining area with a music system, computer, fish ID and general books, and diving magazines. Between dives, there's a large covered fore-deck and an upper sun-deck to unwind on.

The dive deck is practical and ready for the day, with ladders, a fresh-water shower and a camera rinse tank. Meals bring together fresh Asian and western dishes with plenty of variety, and the crew speaks English, French and Indonesian — a good fit for smaller groups looking for a friendly base in Wakatobi.
