Tauchbasis Schwerelos

Tucked into Ingolstadt, Tauchbasis Schwerelos is a PADI 5 Star IDC dive center that bundles a diving school, retail shop, equipment rental and an air-filling station under one roof. With 15 PADI instructors on staff and more than 250 diving courses run every year, it's a place built for steady, hands-on learning.

Courses and what it's known for

The training menu spans PADI Scuba Diving, PADI TecRec, PADI Freediving, PADI Mermaid and PADI First Aid – EFR, so divers can start out, go technical, or branch into freediving and mermaid skills all in the same community. Services round things out with air fills, Nitrox, mixed gas, equipment sales and a full rental range — from 7mm wetsuits and drysuits to dive computers, regulators, steel cylinders and children's sizes.

A standout here is the active travel and dive-trip programme, open to amateurs, professionals and even non-divers alike. Courses and staff are offered in both English and German, making it an easy fit for newcomers and seasoned divers building toward their next certification.
