Tauchcenter Feldberg

Set in Germany's Feldberg Lake District near Neubrandenburg, Tauchcenter Feldberg is a PADI 5 Star IDC Resort run by operator and PADI instructor Tanja Heinrich, who has been diving since 2001 and teaching since 2006. The center is built around a simple idea: get you in the water quickly. From the very first session you'll have your mask, snorkel, fins, scuba and BC in hand, with every exercise demonstrated by an instructor before you try it yourself.

Courses and who it suits

With 2 PADI instructors, the team teaches a full range of PADI programs — from PADI Discover Scuba Diving and Discover Local Diving (from USD 54) to Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water, Deep Diving, Boat Diver and Ice Diving. Teaching materials come as books, DVDs or online e-learning, whichever you prefer.

Guests aged 8 to 60 have picked up safety skills in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. With English, Spanish and German spoken, plus Wi-Fi, a retail shop, dive boat, onsite accommodation and food and drinks, it's a welcoming base for building recreational diving skills.
