Tauchen-Hamburg

Set in Hamburg, Germany, Tauchen-Hamburg has been part of the local diving scene since opening in 2000, drawing on company experience that traces back to 1994. More than a retail shop, it was built around a simple idea: use real diving knowledge to offer gear the team actually dives with and trusts.

Courses and what it's known for

As a PADI 5 Star CDC with 8 PADI instructors, Tauchen-Hamburg runs a full training ladder, including PADI Scuba Diving, PADI TecRec, PADI Freediving, PADI Snorkelling and PADI First Aid (EFR). Every staff member is a diver or instructor, so the advice comes from people who use the equipment themselves.

The center supports divers with air fills, nitrox, equipment sales, and scuba and scooter (DPV) rental, alongside its retail shop. Regular dive sites include Blanck Eck, Katharinhof, Camping Hohes Ufer, Langholst and Middelfart. With service offered in German, it suits divers wanting a hands-on specialist shop close to home.
