Tauchschule Bär

Tucked away on the shores of Lake Zurich, Switzerland, Tauchschule Bär is a PADI 5 Star Dive Center built around its Underwater Explorers Club — a relaxed, enthusiastic crew who gather to head beneath the surface together and discover the underwater world. Non-members are always welcome, though fair warning: the team admits it can be addictive.

Diving and training

With 3 PADI Instructors on hand, the center runs courses and activities spanning PADI Scuba Diving, PADI First Aid (EFR), PADI Public Safety Diver and Adaptive Diving, alongside a Conservation focus. An onsite training pool makes it easy to build skills before exploring local sites.

Regular dives unfold across Lake Zurich spots such as Kleiner Parkplatz, Zigeunerplatz, Schoggiwand, Halbinsel Au, Vordere Au, Chlausenegg and Baumgarten Immensee. Services include air fills plus scuba, kids' and full equipment rental, and an active dive club. With English and German spoken, it suits divers chasing fresh certifications or simply good company underwater.
