Tauchschule Free-Dive

Based in the greater Stuttgart region of Germany, Tauchschule Free-Dive has been a PADI Dive Center since 2002. It's a full-service home base for divers, offering the complete PADI course ladder — from your first breaths underwater on the Open Water Diver programme through to the professional-level Divemaster rating. The PADI Open Water Diver course starts from USD 628 and runs approximately four days, with courses in German.

More than a classroom

Beyond training, Free-Dive doubles as a technical and service hub. The team handles the sale and servicing of diving equipment from Aqualung and Apex, and serves as a test center for Aqualung dive computers. They fill breathing-air bottles up to 300 bar and take on compressed-air tanks for sport shooters and paintball alike.

The center is also a TÜV testing point for compressed-air bottles, with TÜV Süd checks carried out on site. It's a natural fit for German-speaking divers who want their learning, gear care and tank certification all under one roof.
