Tauchschule Ruhrpott Divers

Tucked into Bochum-Wattenscheid, Tauchschule Ruhrpott Divers is a full-service dive school for the Essen area, welcoming everyone from first-time students to seasoned divers looking to keep their skills sharp. As a PADI 5 Star Dive Center, it puts structured, recognised training at the heart of what it does.

Courses and everything around them

The school runs PADI courses and backs them up with the practical support divers actually need. There's an on-site equipment shop carrying names like Atomic, Oceanic, Sherwood, Balzer, Polaris, Barakuda, Prosub, Stampex, Sub Base, Chris Benz, Tilly Tec, Xcel and Aquatool, plus gear rental for those still building their own kit.

Beyond training and retail, the centre handles workshop servicing, tank filling, and diving and travel insurance, and even operates as a travel agency. It suits new divers wanting a solid start, and established ones after a reliable local base for gear, servicing and continuing education under the PADI system.
