The Scuba Shop

Based in Sudbury, Ontario, The Scuba Shop is a PADI Dive Center where two PADI instructors introduce and develop divers close to home. Training happens across three familiar local waters — Gatchell Pool, Ramsey Lake and Moose Mountain Quarry — giving students a natural progression from controlled pool sessions to open freshwater diving.

Courses, gear and local diving

The centre runs PADI Scuba Diving instruction along with PADI First Aid – EFR training, and services are delivered in English. As an authorized dealer for Scubapro, Sherwood and Shearwater, the retail shop carries a wide variety of gear, from masks, snorkels, regs, computers and wetsuits to more. Air fills, equipment sales and rental round out what's on offer, with rental kit including a compass, BCD, 7mm wetsuit, gauges, regulator and aluminum cylinders.

Divers here encounter marine life ranging from freshwater fish to molluscs and crustaceans. With air conditioning, an on-site retail shop and parking, it suits new and returning divers looking for hands-on local training and dependable equipment support.
