UB Diving LTD

UB Diving Ltd. is a PADI 5 Star Training Dive Center in Courtenay, British Columbia, on Vancouver Island. For over 25 years it has trained divers in real cold-water ocean conditions, with instructors whose backgrounds span commercial diving, maritime operations, and search and rescue.

Courses and training

The centre specialises in PADI Open Water Diver training with dry suit certification included, teaching cold-water diving from day one. Instruction is delivered in small, performance-focused groups, so students build the awareness, control, and confidence to dive in real ocean environments rather than simply pass a course. Professional equipment sales, service, and repairs round out what's on offer, and courses are run in English by a team of four PADI Instructors.

Beyond training, UB Diving runs guided charters and expeditions to some of Vancouver Island's most iconic cold-water sites, including Port Hardy and God's Pocket Marine Park. With Nitrox, air fills, scuba and scooter (DPV) rental, and conservation activities, it suits new divers and those advancing their skills alike.
