As a PADI Resort, the well-equipped dive shop takes you from your very first breath underwater right through to Dive Master, backed by an onsite training pool and classroom. What truly distinguishes Velaa is conservation: a dedicated marine biology team runs the largest coral restoration programme in the Maldives, and guests can arrange an immersive tour of the coral garden or seek out the hidden gems tucked into the house reef.
