White Sands Dive Shop

White Sands Dive Shop is a full-service dive shop on Ambergris Caye, Belize, specialising in daily diving, SCUBA instruction and snorkeling out of San Pedro. As a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort staffed by 13 PADI Instructors, it's a well-equipped base for divers of every level — with an onsite training pool, dive boat, waterfront location, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. Scheduled local diving and snorkeling departures leave at 9:00 AM, with free boat pick-up and drop-off at the dock of most Ambergris Caye hotels.

Courses and diving

New to the water? The PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience runs about 3 hours, from USD 218, while the PADI Open Water Diver Course spans roughly 2 days, from USD 460. Nitrox is available, along with scuba and kids' equipment rental, and instruction is offered in both English and Spanish.

The reefs here are known for encounters with sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish, making White Sands a natural fit for first-timers taking their first breaths underwater and certified divers chasing Belize's marine life alike.
