Whitetip Divers

Set within the Paradise Sun Hotel on Anse Volbert in Praslin, Seychelles, Whitetip Divers is a PADI Dive Center that runs its boat straight off the beach in front of the centre. An onsite swimming pool is where new divers blow their "first bubbles" and work through course exercises, making it a comfortable starting point for beginners while still serving certified divers.

Local sites and marine life

From here you can reach dive sites including Whale Rock, white bank, Booby island, St. Pierre and Red point. The surrounding waters are home to sharks, whales, turtles, rays, eels, molluscs and crustaceans, corals, anemones and jellyfish, alongside plenty of ocean fish.

The waterfront centre is well equipped, with a reception area, wooden prep deck, lockers, a workshop and compressor room, plus full sets of SCUBAPRO gear and aluminium cylinders in 10, 12 and 15 litres. Services cover air fills, scuba and kids' equipment rental, and free Wi-Fi. Staff speak both English and French, so it suits divers looking for a relaxed, well-supported base in Praslin.
