Yong Dive

Yong Dive sets out to create a new culture of diving, and it starts the moment you arrive. The center sits right in front of Seogwipo Port, so the boat is just a one-minute walk away. There's no tank to carry or move, and the comfortable system completes ultra-fast gas charging in 15 seconds — no swapping tanks after a dive. Warm showers and indoor and outdoor relaxation areas round out the experience.

Courses and diving

As a PADI Dive Center with 4 PADI Instructors, Yong Dive runs the full ladder of training. Start with PADI Discover Scuba Diving (from USD 81), or progress through Advanced Open Water, Enriched Air, Rescue Diver, and all the way to Divemaster. A Half-Day Dive Trip is also on offer for those who simply want to get in the water.

Local dive sites include Tiger Island, 문섬, 섶섬, and the wreck at 문섬 난파선, where marine life ranges from sharks and whales to turtles, eels, molluscs, and corals. With English and Korean spoken, it suits divers chasing comfort and quality from first breath to certification.
