★ 5 · Michelle F. · 2022-07-21The dive experience was awesome we did a couple shore dives to get comfortable with the area and then we did a shipwreck dive. It was awesome. If you are used to air conditioning this will be a little hard to get used to but you can do it.
★ 5 · Pamela J. · 2021-09-30Gorgeous resort in a fairly secluded setting. Dive center was very responsible and focused on safety. Resort reef was a very nice dive, unlike other resorts I've stayed at. Food on the all inclusive plan was delicious and plentiful. Staff responsive and very friendly. We're looking forward to a return trip! Covid-19 protocols require wearing mask in all public places, and your temperature it taken and recorded several times a day. We felt safe within the resort.
★ 5 · April N. · 2021-07-28This is the most beautiful and unique resort, honestly just book it you won’t regret it! My mom surprised me with a 9 day adventure for a dive grad trip and it was one of the coolest experiences of my life. The resort itself is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before. You stay in one of a kind rooms where you feel like you are in a treehouse tucked away in the jungle overlooking the pristine ocean. The only down side we found with the rooms was the lack of A/C anywhere on the resort property but it’s an eco friendly resort (which is amazing). Make sure to ask for extra fans and avoid the room during hot times of the day. The FOOD was absolutely incredible I would honestly give it 10 stars if I could. We loved the rotating chef’s menu every night and how all of the food incorporated fresh and local ingredients it was equally decadent and healthy! The DIVING! This is by far one of the most pristine networks of reefs I have ever seen. The resort is on a marine reserve inside a national park which makes it a very special treat to see the most vibrant corals and rare marine life. The dive center is perfectly situated on the main beach and the staff is fantastic and super helpful. We really liked that they switched up the dive sites regularly so you weren’t always going to the same spots. Make sure to get on the wreck dives and fairyland dive if you can, they are great dives! We even got to see the rare and elusive seahorse after our dive master (Dani) made it his personal mission to find one for us! The diving at the resort definitely didn’t disappoint and the marine preservation has made a difference here! The STAFF deserves 100 stars, they really went above and beyond the whole time we were there. They were so friendly and helpful and truly made everyday an incredible experience. They are so attentive to make sure that you are having the best vacation you can over the course of your whole stay, we were very impressed! They also really took care with safety and health measures with temperature checks before every meal alone with hand sanitizer stations so it felt very safe! The Activities are endless here! The jungle bike or hike is a must do off of the second private beach. You get to explore 18th century French ruins on the ride and it’s really one of a kind. The sailing trips are also incredible as well as the complementary use of all of the water sports equipment. We loved our stay so much that we are already starting to plan a second visit as soon as we can get there! I cannot convey how amazing this island, and the resort truly is. Honestly Anse Chastanet is the definition of paradise!
