★ 5 · Morgan C. · 2023-02-06This is two seperate entities working together. Abyss Dive Center, and Hibiscus House Hotel. The owners are friends (and that helps alot). Abyss was great with me. I dove with Ariik and he is just fun and good guide. They took excellent care of me and my gear. They made some arrangements and took advantage of opportunities as the arose. Word to the wise, get to Menjangan Island. Totally worth it. I have my own gear, but they were really good with it, so I have to think they will be good with their own. Place two: Hibiscus House. This is a great little family run boutique hotel. Everyone there is wonderful and so inviting and open to you as their guests. Just be friendly and the world is your oyster. A couple of things: The Joglos are fine. Nice. Traditional. I recommend them. Still I ended up in a modern room. This was VERY nice. The beds are comfy. The breakfast is simple and filling. It is in the jungle in the tropics. There will be bugs, there will be mosquitos. But that's just you know... the jungle in the tropics. Go! I cannot say enough good things about either of these places.
