Cali is connected internationally with Miami (American Airlines & AVIANCA), New York JFK, Madrid (both AVIANCA) and Panama-Tocumen (Copa Airlines). There are also direct flights to Cali from Quito, Guayaquil and Lima. It is also possible to fly to Cali via Bogota which is connected to various cities in North America (Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Fort Lauderdale, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Newark, New York JFK, Orlando, Toronto, Washington) and Europe (Amsterdam, Barcelona, Frankfurt, Istanbul, London, Madrid, Munich, Paris). Please make sure that you have a valid ESTA number for flights via the US and that you don't need to arrange a visa before arriving in Colombia (most nationalities receive 90 days on arrival). RECOMMENDATIONS We recommend a wetsuit with 5 to 7 mm and an additional hood if you tend to get cold under water. Diving gloves are allowed but every diver has to follow the diving code of good practices. We use 12 Liter/80 CU tanks with INT (yoke) valves but we also provide adapters for regulators following the DIN standard. Rebreather diving will be offered in the future. The voltage on FEROX is 220 volts. Please make sure that your power supplies of your devices support this voltage. There are many aspects of diving in Malpelo that are absolutely outstanding: Big fish sightings: Hammerheads, Galapagos and Silky sharks, Eagle rays, Tuna, Barracudas Massive schools of fish: La Cara del Phantasma especially had several huge balls of fish of several species Short trips to dive sites: Zodiac rides never took more than 15 minutes, sometimes were as short as 3 minutes Traveling with Ferox is a pleasure: Perfect safety set up: Everyone gets issued with a GPS finder that you dive with on every single dive, briefings cover everything important, guides keep counting guests under water. Food is plentiful and good: Colombian food, freshly prepared, and lots of it!
