Plan this trip with AI →The MV Marco Polo sails Thailand's Andaman Sea from November to April, carrying just 12 guests across 6 cabins. Custom built for diving in 1998 and measuring 23 meters, this liveaboard keeps groups small and the experience personal — with a nearly 1:1 crew-to-guest ratio and a maximum of 4 divers per dive group.
Itineraries roam the Andaman's finest waters, taking in the Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and the legendary Richelieu Rock. Departing from Thap Lamu/Khao Lak, a typical trip runs 5 nights with approximately 15 dives in total, and the Cruise Director schedules up to 4 dives per day — three day dives plus a sunset or night dive.
Between dives, every cabin enjoys ocean views, and there's air conditioning throughout, a sun deck, indoor saloon, library and outdoor dining. A dedicated camera station, separate rinse for underwater cameras and free Nitrox and WiFi round out a boat that's as welcoming to snorkelers as it is to seasoned divers.
