About MY Felicidad II

MY Felicidad II is a 30-metre steel motor yacht that sails Djibouti's waters with room for 16 guests. Fully refitted in 2017–2018, she carries a welcoming atmosphere across multiple decks — indoor and outdoor dining areas, shaded lounges, and a private sun deck for the long, easy hours between dives. Her eight air-conditioned cabins each have a private bathroom, which suits small groups and solo travellers equally well.

Routes and marine life

Two itineraries run out of Djibouti. The Djibouti Whale Shark Cruise covers seven nights and 12 dives, while the Djibouti Sea & Danakil Combo pairs eight nights and 8 dives with an inland desert safari by 4x4, guided overland by a certified tour guide. Expert itineraries also reach Sudan's Southern Red Sea, known for pristine reefs, hammerhead schools, and remote, untouched sites.

Underwater, the cast is generous: whale sharks, whitetip and blacktip reef sharks, eagle rays, barracuda, Napoleon fish, grouper, scorpionfish, tuna, and sea anemones. A night dive and whale shark snorkelling are part of the programme, with dive guides throughout.

Full board keeps things simple — water, tea, coffee, soft drinks, and snacks between meals and after dives — and Star-Link Wi-Fi is free for the whole cruise. Rental equipment is available onboard.
