★ 5 · David Stern · 2021-12-31We were a group of 7 and this was planned for May 2020, but C-19 had us delay it 2x. We had 5 other guest join the boat which was great for me since I was the only Certified diver of our group of 7, so I had dive buddies. But for non divers there was still swimming, Snorkeling, some hiking, great meals, relaxing and don't miss going to the Rum Bar. 1st dive, a checkout dive, we saw giant Tarpon, a 1st for me under water, was really cool to see these powerful fish just chilling. The dives included up to 3 dives a day including night dives. I had some BCD issues so skipped the Willy - T night dive which was a bummer because it looked so cool in pictures and video. The Wrecks and most dives had a good assortment of sea life including seeing a Reef Shark and some Blacktip sharks. The crew was incredible, the food was fabulous and we hated to have to leave the BVI. There were a couple places the current got a bit strong and would have preferred doing a drift dive rather than fight the current. I 100% recommend the Cuan Law and if you check out YouTube and search for Cuan Law Stern 2021 you can find a bunch of videos I shot while on the trip.

★ 4 · Rhone Man · 2009-07-26Cuan Law is a *massive* boat. What probably sets it apart from other liveaboards is the sheer amount of space that you have. They have a complement of two dive instructors aboard and (contrary to profile above) they do actually offer Nitrox, when the system is working. It is not a hard core diving boat, in the sense that you cannot normally put in 4-5 dives a day (because it sails between sites), but it is well equipped; good food, good accommodations, good diving and time between sites is spent in lovely sailing conditions. Because the boat itself is so big, much of the diving is done from rubber inflatables, so you need to be comfortable with the backward roll entry. Cuan Law is not cheap, but it is a pretty pleasant way to dive the BVI.
