NCのレックダイビングの最高峰——それが1988年以来、ノースカロライナ州ウィルミントンでAquatic Safarisが築き上げてきた評判だ。スキューバダイビングのチャーター、指導、器材の販売・修理、そしてダイブ旅行に特化し、PADI 5 Star IDCセンターとして、7人のPADIインストラクターが長年の経験を生かして、すべてのコースとファンダイブをしっかりサポートしている。
ライトビルズビーチ沖のチャーター
Aquatic Safarisが運航するのは、USCG認定の2隻のカスタムダイブボート——36フィートのSeaHawkと48フィートのIsland Hopperだ。熟練のダイブプロフェッショナルがクルーを務め、シーズンのピーク時には毎日、ライトビルズビーチ沖にある沈没船やリーフへと出航する。豊かな構造物が広がるダイブポイントは、まさにNC沿岸の誇るダイビングの魅力そのものだ。
オープンウォーターダイバーからプロフェッショナルを目指す人まで、幅広いレベルに対応するPADIコースを、経験豊かなインストラクターが丁寧に指導する。エアに加えナイトロックス、トリミックス、混合ガスの充填も可能。器材の販売・レンタルのほか、専用教室とリテールショップも完備しており、本格的なレックダイビングを志すダイバーにとって、まさに最適な拠点といえる。

★ 3 · ohana divers · 2009-11-24Aquatic Safaris is a standard stateside shop & dive operation. You are responsible for handling your own gear & tanks (as is the norm for NC shops). Rentals are available. If you come expecting to be pampered like at a Caribbean shop, you will be disappointed... it's just not how mid Atlantic shops operate. The store front is clean & about most of the sales staff is knowledgeable about what they sell (seasonal turnover). Many of the sales reps are college age kids, who are Advanced OW so if you're asking more advanced level questions, you'll need to save them for the instructors. The boats are well kept & well managed by the captains & dive masters. They know their dive sites and will get you in and out of the water safely. Although I haven't personally dove a tech rig with them, it's my understanding that they will accommodate Technical divers (with their own gear). The offshore wrecks AS frequents are teeming with life. Great boat to see Sand Tigers with.
