★ 5 · Bill Shepherd · 2013-05-19Just completed our 10th dive trip to Palau and 4th use of Neco Marine. Without a doubt the premier dive operation in Palau, Neco combines a top flight fleet of boats, drivers and dive masters with a thorough knowledge of available dive sites. They go out of their way to accommodate the wishes of their clients and ensure that each dive is accomplished in a safe and fun manner. From setting up your gear to assisting with water exits, they provide comprehensive assistance to every diver. Our satisfaction is evident in that we recommend Neco to our friends. Coupled with a stay at Palau Pacific Resort, diving with Neco in Palau guarantees a dive trip to remember. We're already making plans for our return in 2014.
★ 5 · Harmony Hartless · 2010-05-25My husband and I just dove with Neco Marine for 23 dives and a snorkel at Jellyfish lake. The staff is more than accommodating and makes sure you are happy with the service. Brad was our dive guide and he was great, showing us lots of interesting marine life during each dive we did. We kayaked with Sam's Tours (another dive company) on our last day and I was more than disappointed with their service. They told us they would pick us up at 7:45 am and I called at 8 only for them to finally send someone to get us at 8:10. Neco never made me wait and were early each day to get my group from the hotel (ours didn't have a dock for the boat to pick us up). They also clean and store your equipment each night so you just show up and dive each day. It was a great experience and I would recommend them to anyone going to Palau. They are a little pricier but their facility is better, boats are more comfortable and have less people per boat, the guides are amazing, and the staff is great. It is worth the extra money ($10).
★ 5 · David Russell · 2009-06-30I spent a week in Palau a couple of months ago and while staying at the PPR I chartered Neco Marine for my diving. The sop has plenty of 'stuff' and their guides are both friendly and skilled as well as being very knowledgeable about the area. There are two types of operators in Palau. Those that cater to westerners and those that cater to the Japanese. The distinctions are very clear as typically never the twain shall meet. Neco provided a very impressive lunch and the diving was beyond anything I'd ever experienced. As my wife is a non-diver I was not able to do Palau on a liveabord, but I had no regrets. The Palau Pacific Resort is wonderful and since I was back on dock every day before 1:00 PM my wife barely knew I'd been gone. A great place for couples in my situation. Neco was there at the hotel dock every morning to pick me up, and dropped me off there at the end of each dive day. Neco took my gear back to their shop every day and rinsed/cleaned/dried it and had it ready for me each day when they picked me up. BY far the best land based operator I've ever had the pleasure of hiring.
