★ 4 · mary k. · 2019-05-03The staff at the resort was very nice and accommodating, we didn't pay for wifi. The room was a 3 1/2 star, comfortable but not fancy. The refrigerator didn't get very cold. We liked being in building 1 because we could walk to the main building, otherwise it is hilly and you call for a golf cart. (We didn't have any noise being that close to the main building.) We would have liked to have a better beach, rather than a "cove" with brought in sand, however, pool volleyball was a fun way to relax and stay cool. The food was ok, typical breakfast with omelette station. Lunch and dinner so, so. Food was overcooked, especially the fish and was bland. It would have been nice to have some spicy salsa's available. The diving with Rocket Frog Divers was great. They are prompt for pick up, safety is vip. We didn't rent but gear and wetsuits looked new and in good condition. I was blessed to be able to dive with a whaleshark!!!! Just me and 1 divemaster, for 30 minutes!!! Experience of a lifetime. Rocket Frog takes care of all your gear, changing tanks, etc. The only regret we have is not taking our gear the last day to dry ourselves. When it was delivered the next day, it was still wet. Just made the 50 lb weight limit on each suitcase with only dive gear! Would definitely dive with Rocket Frog again.
