★ 5 · Cheng Hong G. · 2022-01-17It was not a liveaboard...we were based in Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru resort...the first dive was off the beach, check out dive...it was great, fighting a bit of current , trying to get a footing after not diving for a long time since pandemic The other 2 dives off boat dives with a magical encounter with the majestic silent Manta Rays at the cleaning station....almost miss it as we were heading back to boat when they appear...the last dive was off the beach at sister island of Ilhuru, currents were strong but it was a good dive...both our divemasters were experienced and obliging and manage to discover the small nudibranchs to the lobsters, turtles, black tip sharks, crown of thorns, fire goby, nurse sharks and the mantas.. Wonderful, relaxing holiday after 2 years of not being allow to get out!
