Über Divewise
Divewise gehört zu den Pionier-Tauchbasen Maltas und hat sich kontinuierlich weiterentwickelt, um in der Tauchszene führend zu bleiben. In Saint Julian's beheimatet, bietet diese familienfreundliche PADI 5 Star IDC-Tauchbasis täglich Kurse für alle Erfahrungsstufen – vom Open Water Diver bis zum Divemaster-Programm. Instructor-Ausbildungen finden dreimal jährlich statt, und das Team fördert Open Water Diver sowie Taucher mit weiterführender Ausbildung darin, sich als Nitrox-Taucher zu qualifizieren – dabei wird rekreatives Nitrox kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt.
Wer hier gut aufgehoben ist
Mit 18 PADI-Instructoren und einem mehrsprachigen, geschlechtergerechten Team, das sechs Sprachen beherrscht, heißt Divewise Taucher aus allen Lebenswelten willkommen. Vor Ort erwarten Sie ein eigenes Hausriff, zwei Trainingsbecken, ein Unterrichtsraum und ein Fachgeschäft. Das meiste Tauchen auf Malta erfolgt vom Ufer aus, während Bootstauchgänge je nach Wetterlage und Verfügbarkeit während Ihres Aufenthalts angeboten werden.
Die Tauchbasis ist bekannt für Wracktauchgänge an Tauchplätzen wie dem Öltanker Um El Faroud, dem Patrouillenboot P-29, der HMS Maori und der Karwela, sowie am Blue Hole und den Überresten des Azure Window. Beachten Sie, dass von November bis März Aktivitäten ab 15:00 Uhr nicht verfügbar sind.

I emailed Divewise and received a prompt reply from Viv, she then offered to phone and answer questions. Following the phone call (from Malta) I booked my dives and waited for the holiday, finally sending an email with dives I would like to complete during the week. This again was answered promptly and with the promise of trying to do the best possible. On arrival, I was welcomed and shown round the premises, which are large and have a full set of facilities. At all times the staff were friendly, attentive and always available to chat. They are a good team; Alan & Viv are very much aware of this and maintain a very professional outfit. They managed to get me on all of the dives I asked for and Sarah even found me the seahorse! The briefings were thorough and diver experience and competence was accounted for in this planning. When the weather was poor the team started phoning around other areas looking for dive sites and not just looking for a compromise or giving in. If you want a relaxed, enjoyable, friendly and professional dive centre in Malta, look no further than Divewise. The premises are excellent, the staff are fantastic and the dives are brilliant. Having dived with many centres and in many places, you cannot go far wrong with Divewise, and I would highly recommend them. I’m definitely going back.
