Über Gozo Dive Aqua Sports
Eingebettet in Marsalforn auf Gozo, dem "Juwel des Mittelmeers", bietet Gozo Aqua Sports professionelle und dennoch genussvolle Tauchurlaube. Als PADI 5 Star IDC Zentrum mit zwei PADI Tauchlehrern ist das Ziel des Teams einfach: Ihnen das bestmögliche Erlebnis des Tauchens auf Gozo zu bieten, damit Sie glücklich abreisen und wiederkommen. Es ist zudem ein Rebreather-freundliches Zentrum.
Kurse und Tauchen für jedes Niveau
Einsteiger können sich für Einstiegs-Kurse entscheiden, die von nur einem halben Tag bis zur vollständigen fünf-tägigen PADI Open Water Diver Qualifikation reichen. Erfahrene Taucher werden ebenfalls gut betreut, mit allen PADI Kursen bis hin zum Instructor Level, begleitetem Tauchen vom Ufer oder vom Boot aus sowie preisgünstigen Paketen für die unabhängig denkenden.
Die Tauchgänge starten direkt vom Ufer oder per Boot und eignen sich sowohl für Einzelpersonen als auch für große Gruppen. Zu den berühmten Tauchplätzen auf Gozo gehören das 16 Meter tiefe Blue Hole und die Überreste des Azure Window in Dwejra, die Öltanker Um El Faroud, die Karwela, die Cathedral Cave und die Santa Marija Höhle auf der Insel Comino. Englisch wird gesprochen, und Parkplätze sind vor Ort verfügbar.

★ 5 · amanda cox · 2009-07-27For those who haven't dived Gozo, you're missing a trick. Certainly for us Brits, it's very handy, just 2.5 hours out of Heathrow, a short trek across Malta and hop onto the ferry to Gozo and you're there. We've done two long weekends there in the last year and plan to go back for more. It's pretty much shore diving all the way, with a few tricky entrances and exits. If you do go, I cannot recommend Gozo Aqua Sports in Marsalforn highly enough. Thanks to George, our main man there, but also to Mark our dive master this time round, their discipline and focus on safety and enjoyment is key. The groups are small, often just us and a couple of DMs. Trips go out am and pm and you can get night diving but our's was cancelled this time round due to strong winds and the invasion of the jellyfish (thousands of them!). Recommended dive sites are Inland Sea, the MV Karweller, a 36m wreck dive, the Blue Hole of course, and try and get to the Comino caves if you can - stunning. Don't miss out on shallower dives with plenty to offer and a full hour and 10mins underwater! We haven't done any photography yet, but the opportunities to get great shots are fantastic . You get to see a fair bit of the Gozo landscape as well as you drive from site to site. If you stay in Marsalforn, try Il Kartell or Pierre's for food, and Smugglers for drinks (or Bojangles if you want to talk to British ex pats). And Maria Giovanna for B&B (Tiramisu for breakfast anyone?).
