Über Wet Set Diving Adventures
In Puerto Morelos an der mexikanischen Karibikküste macht Wet Set Dive and Snorkel Adventures den Tauchurlaub zum Kinderspiel. Sobald Sie eintreffen, entfällt das mühsame Zusammenbauen der Ausrüstung, das Schleppen der Flaschen zum Boot und das Spülen danach – alles wird für Sie erledigt. Als PADI 5 Star Dive Resort mit drei PADI Tauchlehrern ist es eine etablierte Basis, um das Korallenriff zu erkunden, genau auf halber Strecke zwischen Playa del Carmen und Cancun gelegen.
Kurse und Tauchen
Zertifizierte Taucher erwartet eine beeindruckende Vielfalt an Meereslebewesen an mehr als 30 Tauchplätzen, darunter Fish Market, Mini Wall, das Wrack der C-56 (Juan Escutia) und Aquarium. Bei Schnorcheltouren gleiten Sie über harte und weiche Korallen, umgeben von Hummern und bunten tropischen Fischen, alles hinter dem schützenden Barriereriff.
Der Kursunterricht findet in kleinen, persönlichen Gruppen mit engagierten Tauchlehrern statt – von PADI Discover Scuba Diving über Open Water Diver bis zu Enriched Air Nitrox. Dank PADI eLearning können Sie den Theorieteil bequem online absolvieren. Mit Englisch- und Spanischkenntnissen im Team und einem Hausriff direkt vor der Haustür ist der Betrieb ideal für Ersttaucher wie für wiederkehrende Gäste.

The first was when Paul owned the shop, the second when Lindsay and Tadd were transtioning in as new owners and the last time when Lindsay and Tadd were fully in their new business. The service was great, the attention to safety notable and the choice of dive sites amazing. We had been scheduled to go to a dive site north of Puerto Morelos (by water) but it was too rough to safely get back on board so we dove C-56 (the wreck at 90 feet deepest) and then a second dive nearby (shallower) where we encountered a school of curious dolphins (15-20) who hung around, left and then returned-Amazing!. We often stay at an all inclusinve and this time it was at Secrets Maroma. While PDC was closer, I wanted to go to Wet Set b/c of the quality of the diving and the friendly service. The cab ride was about $15-20 each way but worth it. I have no hesitation recommending them for your diving experience. Although the dive boats aren't as fancy as some, they are well suited to smaller groups. They start a bit earlier than some places with the result that you can do 2 good dives before noon and have the rest of the day for other activities or you can also go in the afternoon-efficient.
