200Bar Diving Center

200Bar Diving Center sits on a waterfront perch in El Nido, on the Philippine island of Palawan. As a PADI 5 Star IDC operation, it's built for divers of every level — from first-timers trying a Discover Scuba Diving session to those working toward more advanced qualifications with its three PADI Instructors, who between them cover three spoken languages.

Courses and diving

With around 30 courses and activities on offer, the range runs wide: PADI Discover Scuba Diving, ReActivate refreshers, Deep Diver, Junior Advanced Open Water, and the PADI Freediver Course all feature, alongside TecRec, Nitrox, snorkelling and EFR first-aid training. An onsite classroom, retail shop, rental gear and a dedicated dive boat keep the logistics simple.

Local dive sites reach across the bay to Paradise Beach, West Entalula Wall, South Miniloc, Dilumacad Island and Tambalanang, with underwater terrain that ranges from walls to the submerged forest at Popolcan West. Divers here share the water with sharks, turtles, rays, eels and reef fish among the corals and anemones — a fitting playground for anyone drawn to El Nido's marine life.
