52 Long Dong

Tucked into Taiwan's northeast corner, 52 Long Dong is a PADI 5 Star Dive Center in Keelung — just a one-hour drive from Taipei, making it an easy escape from the city into the underwater world. The diving season runs from April through October, and with seven dive sites within a 15-minute drive, there's plenty of water to explore close to home.

Courses and diving for every level

The centre's ten PADI instructors welcome newcomers and certified divers alike, offering Discovery Scuba Diving, Fun Dives and the full PADI pathway from Open Water through to Divemaster. There's an onsite training pool and classroom, plus Nitrox, mixed gas and a full range of scuba equipment rental to keep you comfortable in the water.

Divers here can encounter a variety of marine life, from ocean fish, turtles and eels to corals, molluscs and crustaceans. With English and Mandarin spoken, 52 Long Dong suits both first-timers and experienced divers keen to discover the beauty of Taiwan's northeast coast.
