Abyss Safari Divers

Tucked away in Taipei, Taiwan, Abyss Safari Divers grew out of "Scuba SHOP, Taipei," a diving e-commerce network founded ten years ago by a group of dive buddies from the electronics industry. What began as an effort to make diving information and gear more accessible in Taiwan gradually became a full-service dive shop, settling into its current home on Tayu Road in 2012.

Courses and training

In 2013 the team established the "Abyss Safari Bihai Diving Academy," a PADI 5 Star Dive Center offering a complete path of PADI recreational courses — from junior divers all the way up to instructor classes. For those chasing depth and range, IANTD technical diving instruction and PADI TecRec sit alongside PADI Scuba Diving and PADI Freediving, plus Air Fills and Nitrox.

With a PADI Instructor on hand, three languages spoken (English, Mandarin and Chinese), and comforts like air conditioning and free Wi-Fi, this center suits everyone from first-timers to technical divers who value more than a decade of hands-on teaching and maintenance experience.
