Abyss Scuba Diving

Abyss Scuba Diving is a 5 Star PADI Dive Centre in southern Sydney, offering world-class scuba training, gear, and diving year round. As one of Australia's most awarded dive shops, it's known for small group sizes, highly experienced instructors, and a roster of 16 PADI Instructors. With one of the most extensive and regularly updated dive calendars in Sydney, Abyss runs multiple guided shore and boat dives every week — including seal dives, wreck dives, and marine life encounters.

Courses and local diving

Abyss specialises in PADI Learn to Dive courses with a maximum of four students per instructor, plus Advanced, Rescue, Divemaster, and Specialty courses and professional internships. Activities range from the Full-Day Dive Trip to Dive With Sydney's Seadragons, with enriched air (Nitrox) available. Local sites include Magic Point, Ship Rock Aquatic Reserve, The Steps, Dragons Lair, and the SS Tuggerah Wreck, where divers may encounter sharks, whales, turtles, eels, and more.
