Academy Of Scuba

Set on the Mornington Peninsula in Australia, Academy of Scuba is a passionate, community-driven PADI 5 Star IDC and the only dive center based on Western Port Bay. That location puts it right at the heart of the region's marine environment, from leafy seadragon habitats at Flinders to the piers and reefs across Port Phillip Bay.

Courses and community

With six PADI Instructors on the team, the center runs the full range of courses — from Discover Scuba Diving and Open Water Diver through Advanced, Rescue, Divemaster and specialty programs. You'll also find PADI ReActivate refreshers, youth programs, freediving, snorkelling and conservation-focused and adaptive diving training, so both first-timers and seasoned divers have somewhere to grow.

The Hastings HQ is a full-service facility with an onsite classroom, air fills, equipment sales and rental, and a retail showroom. Divers can explore local sites such as Portsea Pier, where marine life ranges from sharks, whales and turtles to eels, molluscs, corals and reef fish. An active dive club and travel program round out a center built for ocean-minded adventurers who value learning, sharing and marine stewardship.
