Ahlins Gasmix Dykcenter

On the western shore of Lake Vättern in Linköping, Sweden, Ahlins Gasmix Dykcenter is a PADI 5 Star Dive Center built around one of the country's finest freshwater destinations. Vättern is known as Sweden's best lake for diving, prized for its clear, bright water — an ideal classroom for learning and honing skills close to home.

Courses and dive sites

The center runs a full range of PADI courses, from Open Water and Advanced Open Water to Drysuit, Nitrox, Peak Performance Buoyancy, EFR and the AWARE Project. Training takes place in the outdoor pool by the harbour and in the sheltered bay of Vättern right alongside, moving to deeper water at Granvik, around 30km north of Hjo, when a course calls for it. Guided dives and try dives round out the options.

With an onsite training pool, classroom, retail shop, dive boat and parking, it's an easy base for divers of every level. Air fills, Nitrox, Trimix and mixed gas, along with equipment sales, rental and scooter (DPV) rental, keep you ready for freshwater exploration. English and Swedish are both spoken.
