Airlie Beach Dive Centre

At Airlie Beach Dive Centre, the love of diving begins in the Whitsunday Islands. This PADI Dive Centre is passionate about introducing people to the underwater world through safe, high-quality, and eco-conscious training, with a mission to inspire care for the ocean and teach responsible diving that helps protect the Great Barrier Reef.

Courses and community

With two PADI instructors on staff, the centre offers personalised PADI courses for every level, from PADI Scuba Diving and Freediving to Mermaid, Snorkelling, First Aid (EFR), and conservation. Instruction is tailored to individual learning styles, and a dive club keeps the community diving together long after the first breath underwater.

Facilities include an onsite classroom, air conditioning, a retail shop, and a dive boat, backed by air fills, equipment sales, and rental gear for scuba, freediving, and kids. Beneath the surface you may encounter sharks, whales, turtles, and ocean fish. With a welcoming atmosphere and special attention to families with children, and English and German spoken, it suits divers on their own or with the whole family.
