Alona Divers

Since 1996, Alona Divers has been a PADI Dive Center on Panglao Island's Alona Beach in Bohol, Philippines — one of the few dive shops fully owned and managed by passionate Filipinos, with quality service and safety at its core. A waterfront operation with a house reef right on its doorstep, it runs speed and banca boats out to Bohol's renowned dive sites for individuals and groups alike.

Courses and diving for every level

The team of five PADI instructors covers the full path, from PADI Discover Scuba Diving and the ReActivate refresher (each from USD 60) through PADI Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, Deep Diver and Emergency First Response. A guided three-dive trip to Pamilacan Island rounds out the line-up, with instruction offered in English, Chinese and Filipino.

Dive sites range from the coral gardens of Balicasag Island to Doljo Point, Arco Point, Napaling and Danao Wall, with chances to encounter turtles, sharks, whales and shoaling ocean fish. Nitrox, scuba and kids' equipment rental, an onsite classroom, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi make it a comfortable base for novices and seasoned divers alike.
