Alpha Plongee Martinique

On the beach of Grande Anse d'Arlet, Alpha Plongée Martinique sits right in the middle of some of Martinique's most beautiful dive sites. The center runs dives every day at 7:00 am, 10:00 am and 2:00 pm along the Caribbean coast — from the Diamond Rock to Saint-Pierre, taking in the reefs of the Anses d'Arlet and the Nahoon wreck along the way. With 30 dive sites, five qualified instructors and two boats, this PADI 5 Star IDC Resort is set up to handle every level of diver.

Courses and who it suits

First-timers can ease in with Discover Scuba Diving over roughly three hours, while the Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver courses build toward full certification. If you simply want to get in the water, the Half-Day Dive Trip runs about two hours.

Below the surface you may cross paths with sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish. Staff speak English and French, and the waterfront base offers free Wi-Fi, parking, a retail shop and air fills.
