At Amber Waves Diving Company, diving is built around a simple recipe: safety first, sprinkled with plenty of smiles and laughter. This PADI 5 Star IDC centre has grown into Wichita's headquarters for swim, scuba, first aid, and travel, all housed in a state-of-the-art 11,000 sq. ft. facility with a team of 17 PADI Instructors.

Courses for every diver

Training runs the full range, from kids scuba diving classes for ages 8 and up all the way to professional divers, alongside PADI First Aid (EFR) and Public Safety Diver programmes. An onsite classroom, air fills, a retail shop, and equipment sales and rentals — including kids' gear — keep everything under one roof.

Local dives head to Beaver Lake Dive Park and Bull Shoals Lake, where you might spot freshwater fish among other resident life. With air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and parking on site, plus English-speaking staff open seven days a week, it's a welcoming home base for families, first-timers, and aspiring pros alike.
