American Pro Dive Center has been diving and teaching on Florida's Nature Coast for over 35 years. As a PADI 5 Star IDC center in Crystal River, it pairs a team of 8 PADI instructors with an onsite training pool, classroom, and waterfront base — a genuine one-stop shop for divers on the Nature Coast.

Courses and dive sites

The center is world-famous for snorkelling with the manatees, and its range runs from beginner training right up to full IDC and Tec options. You can join a Rainbow River Dive from USD 75, work through the PADI Open Water Diver Course from USD 499, or step up with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver from USD 425. Emergency First Response training is offered from USD 149.

Divers explore spring-fed sites including Rainbow River, Devil's Den, Blue Grotto, Paradise Springs, and Fanning Springs State Park. With air fills, Nitrox, equipment sales and rental, and onsite accommodation, it suits everyone from first-timers to seasoned divers wanting an English-speaking home base on the Nature Coast.
