Anse Chastanet Scuba St Lucia

Scuba St. Lucia is a PADI 5-Star IDC Dive Resort set on the beachfront at Anse Chastanet Resort, wrapped by an award-winning marine reserve established in 1995 to protect St. Lucia's coral reefs. Set up for both beach and boat dives, it offers gear storage, a well-equipped scuba store, three compressors, rental gear, and an underwater Photo and Video center.

Courses and the house reef

With 8 PADI Instructors, the center runs a wide range of PADI courses, from Discover Scuba Diving to Divemaster. Every new diver completes an orientation dive and skill review on the house reef, and all dives are guided by an instructor or dive master. Enriched air (Nitrox) is available, and staff speak English, Dutch, French and German.

The house reef begins just 10 yards beyond the water's edge, in 20 to 140 feet of calm, clear water. Anse Chastanet Reef is home to more than 150 species of fish and dives well day or night — expect peacock flounders, octopus, needle fish and turtles in the shallows, and puffers, moray eels, parrot fish, lobsters and sea horses deeper down.
