Aqaba Sharks Bay Divers

Established in 2012, Aqaba Sharks Bay Divers is a family owned and operated business led by locals Hamza Abumahfouz and Partners Company. Together with a team of professional, passionate local and international staff, this PADI 5 Star Dive Center has built its reputation on high quality, value-for-money Red Sea diving from its base in downtown Aqaba, Jordan.

Courses, trips and local diving

With 5 PADI Instructors on hand, the center runs 18 courses and activities for every level. Newcomers can try PADI Discover Scuba Diving with one dive from shore (from USD 60), while certified divers can build skills through PADI Adventure Diver, Deep Diver, Boat Diver and Emergency First Response. Full-day shore trips and 2 dives from the boat — with buffet lunch and drinks included — round out the daily program, with enriched air (Nitrox) available.

In-water experiences run as shore dives or aboard the double-storey vessels Sharks Bay and Freedom, exploring sites such as Power Station. Facilities include an onsite classroom, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and a retail shop, with staff fluent in English and Arabic — a well-rounded fit for beginners and experienced divers alike.
