Aqua Mate Diving Club

For more than two decades, Aqua Mate Diving Club has called Kozushima Island home — as of 2013, the team had been guiding divers here for 24 years. Based in Shizuoka, this island-raised crew knows these waters intimately, checking the local marine life every day so they can lead you straight to whatever the season is showing.

Courses and diving on Kozushima

As a PADI Resort with 3 PADI instructors, Aqua Mate offers PADI Scuba Diving, PADI Snorkelling and PADI First Aid – EFR training. A dive boat, air fills and scuba, kids' equipment rental round out the setup, while an onsite classroom, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and a retail shop keep things comfortable between dives.

Beneath the surface, divers may encounter sharks, whales, turtles and plenty of ocean fish. The friendly, energetic staff welcome solo travellers with a smile, making this a warm choice for anyone keen to explore Kozushima's underwater world. Service is offered in Japanese.
