About Aqua Tiki II

Based in Fakarava, French Polynesia, Aqua Tiki II is a stylish 18-meter catamaran built for an intimate, authentic exploration of the Tuamotu Archipelago and its remote atolls. With just four cabins — each with a private bathroom and air conditioning — it pairs Polynesian charm with genuine comfort, while a professional crew handles everything from navigation to diving operations.

Diving and what it's known for

As a PADI Dive Boat, Aqua Tiki II focuses on the most beautiful sites of Fakarava and the Tuamotu, famous for crystal-clear waters, vibrant coral gardens, and spectacular drift dives through shark-filled passes. Between dives, guests can kayak, snorkel, or simply take in the serenity of atolls where time seems to stand still.

On board you'll find Wi-Fi ($), a battery charging station, and a selection of Fish ID and diving books, with meals freshly prepared and enjoyed in a shaded outdoor dining area overlooking the lagoon. With English and French spoken and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, it suits divers seeking a personal, peaceful experience deeply connected to the ocean.

Outstanding on every level! The boat, captained by the wonderful Greg, is well-handled, immaculate and very comfortable. The food prepared by Solene, a highly trained French chef, is delicious and plentiful. The dives are off the charts. Divemaster Alex is honestly the best one I have had in 100+ dives. Th dives are challenging but completely suitable for a PADI Advanced Diver with plenty of experience. I think they recommend/require 50 dives. So many vibrant corals, blue, blue water, great vis, currents, fish, rays and so, so many sharks. On one dive we followed a massive hammerhead that was hunting 300-400 grey, silver, white tip and black tip sharks (Tetamanu Village pass). Exhilarating. There is a reason this boat is so often sold out.

We had a blast on this liveaboard! the crew really made the trip amazing! the dives were spectacular and the boat is amazing. because we spent most nights in the lagoons, the water was very calm at night. safety is a priority with the team and the dive master is very knowledgeable and a pleasure to dive with. I'd recommend to anyone!
