Aqualonde Formation

Tucked into Hyeres, France, Aqualonde Formation is a PADI 5 Star IDC centre that invites you to explore the seabed of the Port-Cros National Park in the Golden Islands — one of the most beautiful corners of the Mediterranean. With a spacious boat and six PADI Instructors aboard, the team accompanies you and answers every question about scuba diving or snorkelling.

Courses and diving

The line-up spans 12 courses and activities, from PADI Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver to ReActivate, Scuba Diver and Open Water referral options. If you simply want to get wet, guided diving exploration starts from USD 82, while twilight dives add an after-hours angle. Staff speak English, French and Italian.

Boat trips reach dive sites including Donator (Prosper Schiaffino), the Wildcat (Grumman F4F), Rubis, Togo and the dramatic Tombant de la Gabinière, where marine life ranges from ocean fish and turtles to corals, eels and crustaceans. With an onsite classroom, retail shop, air fills and Nitrox, it suits newcomers and certified divers alike.
